পরীক্ষা,

হজরত ইবরাহিম (আ.) এর জীবনেও এসেছে কঠিন কঠিন পরীক্ষা। জন্ম নিয়েই তিনি দেখতে পান সমগ্র জাতি মূর্তি পূজায় আকণ্ঠ নিমজ্জিত। সবার বিশ্বাস ও রীতিনীতির বিপরীত তাওহিদি র্ধম তাকে প্রদান করা হয়। এক আল্লাহর দিকে জাতিকে আহ্বান করার গুরু দায়িত্ব তার স্কন্ধে অর্পিত হয়। অত্যন্ত সাহসিকতার সাথে তিনি মানুষকে তাওহিদের দিকে দাওয়াত দিতে শুরু করেন। ফলে পুরো জাতি তার ওপর ক্ষিপ্ত হয়। সম্রাট নমরুদ তাকে অগ্নিকুন্ডে নিক্ষেপ করে জীবন্ত পুড়িয়ে মারা সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়। এটা ছিল তার জীবনের প্রথম পরীক্ষা।

দ্বিতীয় পরীক্ষা শুরু হয় আদরের সন্তান ইসমাইল ও প্রাণপ্রিয় স্ত্রী হাজেরাকে মক্কার মরুভূমিতে রেখে আসার মাধ্যমে। এক অসহায় নারী ও তার দুধের সন্তানেকে জনমানবহীন প্রান্তরে রেখে আসা কোনো পিতার পক্ষে কল্পনা করা যায়? কিন্তু ইবরাহিম (আ.) হাসিমুখেই তা পালন করেছিলেন। কারণ, তিনি বুঝতে পেরেছিলেন এটা মহান প্রভুর আরেক পরীক্ষা। তার জীবনে সবচেয়ে কঠিন ও মারাত্মক পরীক্ষা এসেছে কলিজার টুকরো, হৃদয়ের মানিক পুত্রধন ইসমাইলকে কোরবানির নির্দেশের মধ্য দিয়ে। এ পরীক্ষাতেও তিনি উত্তীর্ণ হয়েছেন। কোনো প্রশ্ন নয়- প্রভু হে, এতো কঠিন নির্দেশ তুমি আমায় কেন দিলে? এতে তোমার কী হেকমত নিহিত? তিনি বরং ছেলের আনুগত্য ও বিশ্বাসের গভীরতা মাপতে চেয়েছেন। তাই জিজ্ঞাসা করেছেন, ‘বৎস! আমি তোমাকে জবাই করার নির্দেশ পেয়েছি। এতে তোমার অভিমত কী? আনুগত্যের দৃষ্টান্ত স্থাপনকারী ইসমাইল (আ.) বললেন, আব্বা! আপনাকে যে নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে, তা বাস্তবায়ন করুন। আমাকে ধৈর্যশীল পাবেন। ’

পিতা-পুত্রের আনুগত্যের কী অনুপম দৃষ্টান্ত! তাদের এ আনুগত্যের কারণেই মিল্লাতে ইবরাহিমিকে সকল আসমানি ধর্মের ভিত্তিমূল করা হয়েছে।
