📜 A step back in time…

This photo shows our building at 25–27 Lynch Street, Young, long before it became home to McCabe Blythe Law. Originally occupied by the Australian Mutual Provident Society, the building has been part of Young’s streetscape for well over a century.

A few things have changed since this photo was taken — the vintage car out the front has been replaced with much newer vehicles, and an extension has since been added where you’ll now find some of our team.

Today we’re proud to work in this historic Lynch Street building alongside other local businesses, continuing a long history of people working, meeting and doing business in the heart of Young.

If these walls could talk, we’re sure they’d have a few stories to tell!

Our Young and Sydney offices will close at 5pm on 23 December 2025 and reopen on 12 January 2026.

Your superannuation doesn’t automatically follow your Will and for most people, that’s a huge surprise.

Super is often one of your biggest assets, but without a valid and current Binding Nomination, your fund can decide who receives it after you pass away. They may consider your Will… but they don’t have to follow it.

Taking a few minutes to check (or update) your nomination is one of the simplest ways to make sure your wishes are actually honoured.

November, you were full of sweet moments & big milestones ✨

Here’s what our team got up to this month:

🐶 Sadie (Leanne’s gorgeous girl) had her glow-up at the groomers and made one of her cameo visits to the Sydney office.
🌅 We soaked up some seriously stunning spring sunsets across NSW.
🎓 Chloe Blythe graduated from Gumnut Preschool and told everyone she wants to be a lawyer like her mummy when she grows up (future McCabe Blythe superstar? We think so 💛).
🎉 Courtney headed to Vortex in Wagga to celebrate her twins turning 3.
🎧 Ash saw David Gray live at the State Theatre, fuelled by a few margaritas regrets.
💃 Ash also wrapped up dance-mum season with Harper’s annual concert.
💪 Liz competed at the Parkes CrossFit event
