Your wishes matter. And having them written down can make things easier for the people you care about.

Central Coast Community Legal Centre, in partnership with Everyday Justice, is holding a FREE Aboriginal Wills Day for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who live, work or study on the Central Coast.

Come and have a yarn with a solicitor about:

• Preparing a simple Will
• Enduring Power of Attorney
• Enduring Guardianship
• Advice or referrals for more complex matters

And remember — Wills aren’t just for Elders.

If you have children, family, property, belongings or simply wishes you want respected, having a Will can be important at any stage of life.

We are proud to present a community-led educational conference bringing together community voices, cultural knowledge, legal expertise and practical approaches to challenging racism.

Stand Up Against Racism aims to educate, inspire and encourage meaningful discussion about racism, Aboriginal self-determination and the practical actions that can create culturally safe communities and genuine equality of outcomes.

Through keynote speakers, interactive workshops, poetry and community discussion, participants will explore racism from legal, cultural, community and lived-experience perspectives, while considering what each of us can do to contribute to positive cultural change.

Importantly, we want community voices to help shape the outcome of the day.

Through collaboration and genuine engagement, we hope to develop a Local Statement on Racism that reflects what we hear and learn together and can be used to support community education, advocacy and engagement with government.

From Aboriginal wills workshops to child protection and practical training for frontline workers, the Centre helps strengthen not only individuals but the organisations that support them.

Belinda also shares a powerful hope for the future—that the Centre is properly resourced, that more local Aboriginal solicitors are supported into the profession, and that every child is given the opportunities they deserve.

Last week, on 31 July 2026, Central Coast Community Legal Centre, in partnership with Community Legal Centres NSW , delivered Victims Support training for local caseworkers at Gudjagang Ngara
Li Dhi in Wyong.

Our team, Alana and Sarah, were proud to provide practical training on how to support victim survivors of crime, including how to make Victims Support applications and connect people with counselling and other available support.
By building the skills of local caseworkers, we’re helping make sure victim survivors can access the support they need, when they need it. Strong partnerships and shared knowledge help create a stronger, more connected community.

A big thank you to CLCNSW for their ongoing support, Gudjagang Ngara Li Dhi for hosting the training, and to everyone who attended. Your commitment to learning means
more people in our community will be able to access informed support.

🎉🧸 What a Very Deadly Day! 🖤💛❤️

Our Very Deadly Teddy Bears' Picnic was filled with smiles, laughter, connection and so much fun as we celebrated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day. 🌿✨

It was wonderful to see families, gudjagang and Community come together to yarn, play, learn and make new connections. A huge thank you to all of the amazing organisations who joined us and shared fun activities, valuable information and support with our families. 🤝💛

The sensory play was a crowd favourite (with plenty of messy fun! 🌈), and our Teddy Bear Scavenger Hunt had little explorers searching high and low with big smiles on their faces! 🧸🔍
