The Big Merino, located in Goulburn, New South Wales.

It is a monument three-storey high made of concrete and steel measuring 15.2 metres high and 18 metres long. It was built in 1985 as a celebration of the Goulburn and surrounding district’s fine wool industry. It is a life-like model of Rambo, a stud ram from the local property ‘Bullamallita’.

Inside you can explore a wool industry exhibition inside the giant structure. One can shop top-quality Aussie-made wool and merino products.

On our trips we usually sit for ten minutes in one spot watching the world around us go by. Nature, people, waves, time - everything passes by while we enjoy being still for a short moment. We set up the camera to capture a short time lapse for our memories. Sometimes life can be so busy that you don’t enjoy the present and we have to intentionally savour the moment. Tilt your screen to enjoy.

Working rural today. The drive was so good even if it was raining. Fog on the hills. Air smells fresh and clean. Wonderful.

Everyone seems to be still sleeping though.

An important Meeting of Filipino Migration Agents with Consul General Maria Lourdes Salcedo was held today at the Philippine Consulate. We discussed problems and issues that affect our Filipino applicants that apply under a student visa in Australia and how we can help in addressing them protecting their interest and welfare.

Hence they have invited Regional Migration Agents to consult and find ways to help the applicant obtain the proper guidance for to make an informed decision on their pursuit of studying in Australia.

Among the discussions, what I truly saw is that the Philippine embassy genuinely cares for the welfare of Filipino’s who want to go to Australia to study and migrate . They are concerned on how to properly guide and protect the applicants against people who take advantage and lead them aimlessly.

This is my first time to participate in an event like this as I am discreet about how I go about my work but I am delighted that I have attended. My fellow Registered Migration Agents have given me more wisdom with their experience to better go about my service to my clients at Pioneers Migration and Education.

Especially thankful for the invitation to participate from Consul General Maria Lourdes Salcedo. It is such a privilege to be a part of this event.
