How will the new Victims of Crime Financial Assistance Scheme help victims?

Some improvements from the previous system include more time to make an application after the criminal act, more time to gather and file supporting documentation to make your case, and a requirement that the decision maker for your application provide reasons for their decision.

Getting help with medical expenses, lost income and more just got easier for victims of crime.
