We have three new team members who’ve joined us in recent months we’d love to introduce to you if we may …
Firstly - as the firm’s needs continue to grow, we are thrilled to bring on our first ever Office Manager, Miranda Hogarth.
Working closely with our GM Clair Newson, Miranda oversees the firm’s day-to-day operations, helping to ensure our people, processes and systems run smoothly, and that our eyes are firmly on continuous improvement.
Before joining Solomon Hollett Lawyers, Miranda spent several years in London working in residential property sales, specialising in country homes and estates, managing teams across several UK regions.
Outside of work you’ll usually find her planning her next trip, spending time with her husband and her dog, or making the most of the Western Australian beaches and weather.
Next - please meet Solicitor Caroline Edwards, working across the litigation and estate administration practice areas.
Caroline graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of Western Australia in 2023 and was admitted as a lawyer later that year by the Supreme Court of Western Australia. Prior to her postgraduate studies, she also obtained a Bachelor of Business (Majoring in Law in Business) from Edith Cowan University.
From the outset of her inheritance law practice, Caroline has worked on an array of litigious matters and takes particular interest in disputes arising under the Family Provision Act and the proof of informal wills. As a litigation lawyer, Caroline likes to take a pragmatic approach and provide her clients with a clearer way forward keeping their best interests in mind. In her spare time, Caroline loves DIY home renovations, travelling to mountainous places and planning her next tattoo.
And finally, please meet Mikayla Erdelyi who also joins the team this month in the role of Administration Assistant, coming to us from the health sector with over 5 years of experience supporting a busy, fast-paced workplace. Adept at keeping daily operations running smoothly, Mikayla takes on an array of responsibilities within the firm, including helping our clients connect with the right lawyers, and ensuring our lawyers are optimised on the administrative front at every turn.
Mikayla is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Korean Language and Culture, on weekends you’ll find her enjoying precious time with friends and family, travelling, watching movies, reading books and cooking.
