A delight this morning to have so much media attention on the release of our 2026/27 Inheritance Report - Craig Hollett happily sharing the insights this morning with the news crews.

We so appreciate the interest in this topic and are hoping we can really turn the dial on the amount of people having the inheritance conversations at the family table once their right plans are in place.

Families having those transparent conversations (conversations that we are always happy to steer) are the families far less likely to end up in dispute or in court.

A belated welcome to one of our latest team members - please welcome Thomas Salter to the firm. Thomas joined us a few months back, bringing experience from his previous role at one of Perth's well-respected commercial firms, and holds a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University.

Thomas has a background spanning legal practice and financial services, experience that informs a commercially grounded approach to client matters, his practice focusing on inheritance law. He has demonstrated a commitment to the profession through mentoring law students via the Law Society of Western Australia and coaching mock trials at Aquinas College. Oh and he has one of the best hand-shakes going around.

Yesterday, our team had the opportunity to volunteer with the brilliant Ruah Community Services helping sort donated items and assist with morning tea for people impacted by homelessness, domestic and family violence.

It was a small but meaningful reminder of the quiet, consistent work so many people and organisations do every day to support those most in need in our community.

We're grateful to have contributed, even in a small way, alongside such top shelf people at Ruah who truly are changing lives every day.

It was an absolute treat to attend last week’s exclusive event hosted by Macquarie Private Wealth at Louis Vuitton’s exquisite Perth flagship store. A fabulous evening of networking in style with likeminded professional women from Perth’s legal and financial sectors.

We were fortunate to preview the latest Spring collection, while learning the fascinating history of the brand’s humble origins from very knowledgeable and delightful LV staff.
