Lest we forget. May they rest in the peace of heaven. Let us never forget what they fought for- life, truth, freedom, & peace. We now have the responsibility to continue this fight on where we see it being attacked.

Today is Rememberance Day.

At 11am on 11 November 1918 the guns on the Western Front fell silent after more than four years of continuous warfare.

Remembrance Day in Australia is dedicated to Australians who died as a result of war, particularly from World War I onwards. A minute of silence at 11am is dedicated to the deceased, especially for soldiers who died fighting to protect the nation.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end, Amen.

St Thomas Moore-Patron Saint of Lawyers, pray for us.🙏🌏

Today is the feast day of St Thomas More, the patron saint of lawyers.
The son of a judge and himself an eminent lawyer, More was convicted of treason for refusing to accept the king as the head of the Church.
He went to his ex*****on in 1535 with a clean conscience and a light heart telling spectators that he was still “the king’s good servant – but God’s first”, before carefully adjusting his beard and beheaded. He is also the patron of adopted children, civil servants, politicians and difficult marriages.
