As a comprehensive secondary school we provide quality programs in academic, vocational, cultural and sporting pursuits. Student progress is reported on in a variety of ways to both students and their parents/caregivers. Students are encouraged and supported by strong welfare programs. The Excellence in Sport program provides top-class coaching and mentoring for talented sports students. The resurgence of music and drama, together with achievements in dance, debating and public speaking attest to the range of opportunities available for students

The intent of this page is to provide a hub for responsible community engagement that celebrates the daily life of our school. Tweed River High School encourages interaction from Facebook users but is not responsible for comments or wall posting made by visitors to the page. Students, parents, staff and other visitors to the site are reminded of the NSW Department of Education Social Media Policy and the TRHS Social Media Policy. Any activity on this site can be monitored and reported to relevant authorities. Students are considered to be partaking in a school based activity if comments are posted on the site, and hence are subject to normal school discipline policies where inappropriate comments have been made. Comments posted also do not reflect in any way the opinions or policies of Tweed River High School. TRHS asks that people making comments on the page show respect for their fellow users by ensuring the discussion remains civil, especially since Facebook allows individuals 13 and over to join. Comments are also subject to Facebook’s Terms of Use and Code of Conduct. Where we consider a post to be in breach of our online protocols we reserve the right, but assume no obligation, to remove comments that are racist, sexist, abusive, profane, violent, obscene, spam, that advocate illegal activity, contain falsehoods or are wildly off topic, or that incite or threaten any person or organization. We also reserve the right to potentially block that individual or group from our page. In such instances, the offender would be reported to relevant authorities and may be subject to school disciplinary action. We do not permit messages selling products or promoting commercial, political or other ventures. Facebook encourages all users to utilize the “report” links when they find abusive content.
