This week, we celebrate a very special milestone – 10 years of Ruhl Family Law Centre.
Ten years ago, our Principal, Diane, opened the doors to the firm from a modest warehouse office in Garbutt, complete with an esky to keep the milk cold for the morning coffee. What started with a vision, determination, and a commitment to helping families through difficult times has grown into the practice we proudly call home on Ingham Road today.
The journey has not always been easy. Building a small business has come with its share of challenges, sacrifices, and many long hours. However, it has also been incredibly rewarding. Over the past decade, we have had the privilege of standing beside individuals and families during some of the most significant and difficult periods in their life.
Helping our clients navigate change and move forward towards their new beginnings has always been at the heart of what we do—and remains our motto today.
As we celebrate this milestone, we are deeply grateful to our clients for their trust, and to our colleagues, family, friends, and professional partners for their support throughout the years. Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to the next chapter and to helping many more people find their new beginnings in the years ahead.

Today we’re doing something a little different for Motivational Monday.

Instead of posting a motivational quote, we wanted to reflect on what truly motivates us every day. Over the weekend Diane was contacted by a former client and sent a lovely email and what they indicated is provided below.

Working in an area of law that is both challenging and deeply emotional means we meet people during some of the hardest times in their lives. Behind every matter is a person, a family, a future, and a story that deserves compassion, understanding, and strong support.

What motivates us is knowing that the work we do can help guide people through to their New Beginning after separation.
