Big day at Mackey Wales Law!

On Friday, our very own Suzanne Van Der Westhuizen was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland…and topped the order of merit while she was at it.
We are incredibly proud of Suzanne. She joined us as a lawyer from South Africa in early 2024 and her admission in Qld is a fitting reflection of the dedication and excellence, she brings to everything she does.

We were proud to attend this morning's fundraising breakfast supporting the Inspiring Brighter Futures Foundation. Our Principal, Terry Fanning, has been mentoring students through this impactful program in Townsville for the past two years.

It was inspiring to hear firsthand from student mentees about the difference this initiative is making in our community. Equally enlightening was the feedback from mentors, who universally acknowledged that they gain as much—if not more—from the experience as the students themselves.
