We have had a number of clients phone over recent days about whether Parenting Plans and Court Orders should still be complied with. The answer changes from case to case. At this stage, previous Plans and Orders should still be complied with as much as possible but parents and caregivers need to appreciate that strict compliance may not be possible. Social distancing and COVID-19 isolation policies must be implemented. If you would like to gain further clarity on this issue for your particular circumstances, please feel free to contact me. My consistent advice to every client is to be patient with each other and calm around your children. Like everything else, this too will pass.

With the pandemic in full flight, there will be some changes for our new and existing clients. Some mediation centres are choosing to close their doors and there will be changes to the Court lists. Rest assured we are fully equipt to facilitate mediations and Court appearances (where appropriate) via telephone link. We also have well established external working policies which will mean we will be able to continue to operate in the event of stricter isolation policies. Please note that in the interests of public safety, we will be operating externally, where ever possible. Accordingly, please ensure that you telephone or email rather than attend our office unexpectedly.
