That’s a wrap on the 2026 soccer season! ⚽️

We’ve loved being an official sponsor of Garden City Raiders Football Club this season, supporting the club, its players & their families.

Thank you to everyone at the Raiders for a fantastic season. We’re proud to support local sport & the community that makes it so special.

See you on the sidelines in 2027! 👏

⚖️Earlier this month we attended the Toowoomba 'Ladies in Law Luncheon' - an afternoon filled with great conversations, genuine connections & very good vibes.

There’s always something special about being in a room full of women who are passionate about what they do, proud of their profession & supportive of one another.

Thank you to the Downs and South Western Queensland Law Association - Dswqla for organising & hosting the event. We left feeling inspired, energised & very grateful to be part of such a wonderful legal community.

🥂Here’s to strong connections, supporting each other & celebrating the incredible women around us.

What a wonderful day in Chinchilla on Saturday!

A big thank you to the Chinchilla community for welcoming us at One Long Table. We were proud to sponsor such a fantastic event celebrating community, culture & food.

The kids certainly had an excellent time at side show alley!

Thanks for having us, Chinchilla Community Commerce and Industry Inc - CCCI.

We were proud to sponsor the Toowoomba City Bowls Club’s 'City 300 Pairs day' on Friday, 21 August 2026.

It was fantastic to support such a welcoming local club & acknowledge the important role it plays in bringing people together, building friendships and strengthening our community.

Pictured with President Merv & Secretary Bill - thank you for having us & for everything you do to support your members.

We love supporting the organisations that make Toowoomba such a great place to live, work & connect.

A productive day on the road yesterday!

We were in the South Burnett region to meet with a new client and, of course, couldn’t pass through Yarraman without stopping for a pie! 🥧

We love working across regional Queensland - being there in person, building genuine connections within the community, and ensuring quality legal advice is accessible to everyone, no matter where they live.

And when there’s a great local bakery along the way, even better! 🙌

🚗 Been in a car accident? Do you actually need to report it to police?

It’s a question we hear often, especially after a crash that initially doesn’t seem too serious.

The most important thing? Make sure everyone is safe first. Then, make sure you understand what needs to happen next.

In Queensland, you generally need to report a crash to police within 24 hours if:
• Someone has been injured or killed
• A vehicle needs to be towed
• Another driver refuses to provide their details
• Property damage exceeds $2,500
• Public infrastructure has been damaged

Even when police attendance isn’t required, it’s important to exchange details, take photos & get medical treatment if you’re injured.

We’ve put together a helpful article covering what to do after a crash, what information to collect & when you need to report the accident.

Matilda Injury Lawyers are proud to support LifeFlight & the vital role they play in our community. We recently stopped by the LifeFlight Roma Visitor Experience Centre to learn more about the incredible work that LifeFlight does across regional & remote Queensland.

The Visitor Experience Centre provides a behind-the-scenes look at LifeFlight’s operations, including the equipment used in rescues, a helicopter simulator & the First Minutes Matter program, which teaches vital skills to help people respond efficiently in the first few minutes of an emergency.

It was great to see firsthand the people, training & technology behind this life-saving service.

If you are travelling to, through, or around Roma, the LifeFlight Visitor Experience Centre is well worth a visit. It’s free, open 7 days a week, and offers a great opportunity to learn more about the people who help save lives across Queensland.

Thank you to the LifeFlight team for the work you do in our community ❤️🚁

Recently, we travelled to Kingaroy to meet with a new client during an incredibly difficult time in their life.

In the legal profession, some matters extend far beyond legal advice. They require compassion, empathy, and the willingness to meet people where they are, both literally & emotionally. We recognise that not everyone is in a position to travel, particularly when they are navigating profound personal loss, which is why we are committed to making our services as accessible as possible.

A sincere thank you to the Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce & Industry for generously allowing us to use your Business Hub meeting rooms. Having access to such a welcoming & professional space enabled us to meet privately with our client & provide them with the support they needed.
