Sarah Marsden grew up on the land, and it’s remained a constant part of her story.

Sarah, a Lawyer at Hede Byrne & Hall Lawyers, has returned to the law after time spent living and working on remote cattle stations across Queensland and the Northern Territory.

After beginning her career in Brisbane, she felt the pull back to something familiar. A life outdoors, working with her hands and being part of the rhythm of the land. What began as a gap year quickly became something more, shaping the way she sees the world and the people in it.

"There’s something about life on the land that grounds you. It teaches you resilience, patience and perspective. I carry that into my work with clients every day."

Now back practicing as a lawyer, Sarah brings that same perspective to her work in family and succession matters, supporting clients with empathy, clarity and care.

At Hede Byrne & Hall Lawyers, it’s these lived experiences that continue to shape how we work with and for our communities.
