MIGRATION MATTERS WITH RIZIKI | PART 5

The “No Further Stay” Condition

Condition 8503 may prevent a visa holder from applying for many other visas while they are in Australia.

In limited circumstances, a person may request that the condition be waived. However, a waiver is not automatic, and supporting evidence will be required.

Breaching visa conditions can have serious consequences, potentially including visa cancellation, removal from Australia and difficulties with future visa applications.

Understanding your conditions early gives you more time to consider the appropriate steps.

If your visa includes a No Further Stay condition, contact Rochford Solicitors for advice before making further plans.

Sometimes they're exciting like buying a home or starting a business.

Sometimes they're unexpected.

MIGRATION MATTERS WITH RIZIKI | PART 4

Meeting Course Requirements

Condition 8202 requires student visa holders to remain enrolled in an eligible registered course and meet the applicable course requirements.

Studying must remain the primary purpose of holding a student visa. Failing to maintain enrolment or satisfactory progress may place the student in breach of their visa conditions.

This can also matter to employers who engage international students, particularly when planning work hours around study commitments.

Visa conditions are specific to the individual and should always be checked carefully.

If you are unsure about your obligations, contact Rochford Solicitors for advice.
