Where does risk arise for strata managers, and what can professionals do to protect their business and reputation?

Our Partner, Peter Ton, explored these questions during the Principals Stream: Risk, Responsibility and Reputation session at the SCA (NSW) Convention on Wednesday 23 September, alongside Mitchell Lipscombe, Chief Operating Officer at BAC Insurance Brokers.

Peter drew on real legal cases to highlight how liability can arise and shared practical strategies for managing risk through better documentation, communication, governance and decision-making.

Combined with Mitchell's insights into professional indemnity insurance, the session gave attendees a practical legal and risk-management perspective on navigating complex situations before they escalate.
