A month in Tamworth. Two back to back hard fought trials. Acquittals.
There are some matters that stay with you long after you leave the courtroom.
After almost a month in Tamworth, an intensely fought criminal trial concluded with our client being acquitted.
Trials of this kind demand everything — meticulous preparation, long days in court, difficult decisions and an unwavering focus on the evidence. It was a privilege to stand beside our client through that process and to see the matter through to its conclusion.
This photograph was taken during my time in Tamworth. Away from the courtroom, there was something grounding about finding these quiet pockets of country beauty — a reminder that even during the most demanding cases, life continues beyond the courtroom walls.
Tamworth, you were quite a chapter.
