The decision in Masson & Parsons does not mean that every donor is a parent. It means that, in circumstances where a child is conceived by artificial insemination, a 'donor' can be recognised as a legal parent, where they fulfill the roles and responsibilities of a parent, and intended to do so.

Today, the High Court decided that our client is the legal parent of his daughter, irrespective of how she was conceived.

We are so extremely proud to have been involved in this case, and to achieve such a successful result on behalf of our client.
