Many thanks for the invitation to the Boardroom Luncheon of the Australia-Latin American Business Council (ALABC) and for the meeting with the Ambassadors of Central America.
It was an honour to be part of this meeting where each Ambassador told us about the benefits offered by their countries, business opportunities and future projects between Australia and Central America. We hope we will meet again at future events and continue growing together.
The main advantages among the Central American countries are low-cost labour, lower cost of living, and competitive infrastructure. Also, the business opportunities in Central America are the following:
• Panama: Financial and Commercial Services, Port and LNG terminals, Wealth planning.
• Guatemala: Manufacture, Electricity, Agriculture.
• Costa Rica: Medical Instruments, Tourism, Agriculture
• El Salvador: Textiles, Energy, Agribusinesses
