As we start our 10th year at Massons, Alex Ho joins founders Leisha de Aboitiz and Jodie Masson as a Partner. This marks the firm’s first ever promotion to the position of Partner since inception in 2016, when we started with just 6 people and a vision - to build a premium top-tier commercial property team sitting outside the big firms.

Alex embodies the excellence and attitude associated with the Massons-brand, with his enthusiasm for property law always punctuated with an exclamation-mark (if you know, you know….!).

Even in a team of exceptional senior lawyers with a strong pipeline of future leaders, Alex stands out. Congratulations to our colleague Jude Kassas who was finally admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of NSW on Friday. Most of the team at Massons have had the pleasure of working with Jude since he was at the beginning of his second year at university in 2021, and many of you will be quite surprised that he wasn’t already a lawyer! Onwards and upwards JK!

A traditional Gong Fu-style Chinese tea session is an unusual team-building experience but it's really worth thinking about as a mindful pause from the hustle of the workday. The Massons team participated in small group sessions, led by a wonderful tea guru right in our office. 🍵✨
Sure, we learned a lot about tea - but it was more a moment to slow down, reconnect, and appreciate the art of presence.
