Belinda Crawford is a qualified Collaborative Coach and Accredited Family Law Specialist with over 20 years' experience in family law. Prior to founding Separation Solutions, she spent 15 years as a Judicial Registrar and Senior Judicial Registrar in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, conducting hundreds of settlement conferences and working across a broad range of parenting and financial matters.

Drawing on her extensive legal, court and dispute resolution experience, Belinda supports clients and their lawyers throughout the collaborative process. Working alongside other collaborative professionals, she helps parties communicate effectively, stay focused on their goals, and explore practical, future-focused outcomes that meet the needs of everyone impacted by the separation.

Our Process ⚖️

Our mediation process is designed to be simple, structured, and easy to follow. Here’s how it works:

1. Review Availability online: Agree on a suitable date with the other party and book your mediation.

2. Complete the Intake Process: Provide information about your matter through our intake process, then review and sign the Mediation Agreement.

3. Pre-Mediation Conference: Attend a confidential, individual one-hour video call with your mediator to discuss the issues, clarify goals and ask any questions.

4. Documentation: Provide your mediator with any relevant documentation to assist with the mediation such as case outline documents and a balance sheet.

5. The Mediation: Flexible sessions including joint and private meetings to explore solutions.

6. Agreement: Formalise any agreements reached, often with the mediator’s assistance.
