Through the Will Power initiative Beck Legal will donate funds directly to the Mallee MRI Appeal
and aim to raise $50,000 by 30 June 2025.
Inspiring the community to make a legal Will while making a lasting impact on the health and wellbeing of our community.

If you made your Will at Garden and Green, it is now held at Beck Legal. So if you’d like to make a time to update your Will you can make a direct impact to the appeal.

Together, we can achieve our goal of raising $50,000 for the Mallee MRI Appeal and ensure that our residents have access to these essential medical facilities.

Are you operating under the best business structure?
Many new businesses are established without appropriate advice from the outset, and are therefore set up in a structure that quickly becomes inadequate for their growth and evolving needs.

Deanne joins Beck Legal as part of our business services team. A valuable member of the team supporting all of our departments Deanne carries out administrative tasks, trust reconciliation and helps with IT support.
Deanne has a experience in many different industries such as Aged Care, Training organisations and home and community support as well ad over 12 years in the legal industry.
“I am always learning new and interesting thing from the highly skilled teams I work with”.
Away from work Deanne is busy. She is Treasurer of Murray ACE a local Registered Training Organisation, Community Member of Woorinen and District Primary School and a Member of the Woorinen South CFA.

Yvonne Petzke
Client Manager - Conveyancing
Yvonne began working in law firms as a junior. She progressed her career to become a conveyancing clerk in various law firms across Swan Hill and Bendigo. Along the way Yvonne has gained a wealth of knowledge that is invaluable to assisting her client base.
“I enjoy the challenge of a contract and explaining things in simple terms to clients so that they understand what is happening”
Outside of assisting clients through their property transactions, Yvonne has a large tropical garden which she enjoys tending to. “I also love being involved with my grandchildren and following their sporting pursuits”.

Jessie O'Brien
Client Manager, Wills and Estates
Jessie is our newest Wills and Estates team member bringing with her a strong background in Probate and experience in accounting.
Jessie enjoys meeting new clients and working with them to efficiently complete an estate so that it’s as stress free as possible. Jessie, like all our team, approach probate with empathy and professionalism during what can be a difficult time for clients.
Outside of work family takes priority. Jessie’s family are all involved with the Swan Hill Basketball Association as well as the local Swan Hill Football Netball Club. When they aren’t busy participating in sport, Jessie and her family love watching NBL and AFL games in Melbourne supporting Melbourne United and Melbourne Demons respectively.

Claudia joins Beck Legal with extensive Family Law experience, along with extensive knowledge in Criminal Law, Wills and Powers of Attorney and Civil Litigation.
Claudia approaches all her matters dedicated to reaching outcomes that fulfill client’s instructions, and that are just and equitable.
“I enjoy being able to assist those who don’t have extensive knowledge regarding their legal rights and helping them to achieve the best outcome possible.”
Claudia places a high value on trust, and always prioritises the balance of being personable and professional to facilitate all matters.
Away from the office you can find Claudia Voyage Fitness Swan Hill teaching spin and fitness classes, running or playing with her dogs Biscuit and Ziggy at the dog park and ‘being the coolest aunty to ever exist’ (lucky kids)!

Kim brings to Beck Legal a wealth of experience in litigation and family law. With over 40 years in legal practice, Kim has been involved in some of the state’s most significant cases, especially in his previous life as a personal injury lawyer.
Kim enjoys working in a team environment to achieve the best results for his clients. He values client relationships and derives enormous satisfaction from assisting his clients through difficult times.
Outside of work time, Kim is a keen motorcycle enthusiast enjoying riding his new Kawasaki Z900RS on sunny weekends. When not cruising around, Kim loves to be involved with his grandchildren and following their sporting activities. Kim is a soccer coach, as well as a keen AFL and rugby fan.

The successful applicant will need to have excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic with a desire to learn.

You will need to be professional, proactive and be able to work independently and within our team.

We require you have Microsoft Office skills with an efficient level of accuracy and have attention to detail when processing documents.

This position also requires someone who is willing to assist wherever needed and be willing to take on tasks as required.

Confidentiality and client care are our firm’s priority.

This is a full-time position however part time would be considered for the right applicant.
