Big changes are coming to Victorian property auctions from 1 October 2026.

From 1 October, sellers will be required to have their reserve price publicly disclosed at least 7 days before auction.

For buyers, this means more transparency before auction day and a clearer understanding of the seller’s expectations.

For sellers, it means the reserve and pricing strategy need to be considered earlier in the campaign.
