👉 The 482 is now officially called the Skills in Demand Visa.

The former TSS visa has been restructured and renamed as the Skills in Demand Visa (Subclass 482).

It's a temporary visa — up to 4 years — that allows full-time work in Australia under an approved employer sponsorship arrangement.

If the eligibility requirements are met later down the line, it can open a pathway to Permanent Residency through the Subclass 186.
