Did you know it is often possible to make a Total and Permanent Disablement claim against more than one superannuation fund?

Many Australians have multiple accounts from different stages of their career, and each may carry valid insurance cover.

Our guide explains how these concurrent claims work and what you need to look for in your policy documents. Identifying every available source of support can make a significant difference to your financial security during recovery.

Navigating the fine print of several insurance policies at once is complex, but you do not have to do it alone.

We specialise in helping you recognise and access the full scope of your entitlements while you focus on your health.

After a road accident, most people worry about the car. The claim quietly starts running in the background — and it has deadlines.

Start with your health. Call 000 if anyone is hurt, and see a doctor within days even if you feel okay. Whiplash and concussion often show up later, and a gap in your medical records is the first thing an insurer will point to.

Then protect the evidence while it still exists. Photograph the scene, damage and injuries. Exchange driver details, collect witness numbers and report to police. The other vehicle's registration identifies its CTP insurer, and notice has to be given through the regulated process within strict time limits.

From there, keep every appointment and every receipt. Tell your treating practitioners about pain, sleep and mood as well as the obvious injuries — psychological injury only counts if it's documented.

The insurer will assess liability, treatment costs and your injuries on their evidence. Many claims resolve through negotiation; disputed matters may proceed to court. You don't have to manage that conversation on your own.

Swipe through the carousel, then contact Lifestyle Injury Lawyers on (07) 5627 0321 for a free Health & Compensation Claim Assessment. We'll tell you where you stand and what your deadlines are.

If another driver caused your road accident in Queensland, a CTP claim is generally made against their insurer, not against them personally. We often help people understand this first step, along with what evidence can support a claim and what deadlines may apply.

Our guide explains the process in practical terms, including identifying the right insurer, gathering records and other evidence, and understanding how rehabilitation support may fit into your recovery. If you're unsure where to start, we can help you make sense of your options and next steps.

If you were hurt at work, you may have heard two terms thrown around: statutory benefits and common law damages. They are not the same thing, and understanding the difference can affect your decisions early on.

In our article, we break down how statutory workers compensation can help with weekly payments and treatment, while a common law claim may be available where negligence is involved and can include broader damages. We explain the distinction in plain English so you can see what pathway may apply to your situation in Queensland.

If work injury paperwork and insurer communication are already wearing you down, we can step in and help you understand your rights.

Not sure what to do after a road accident on the Gold Coast? That confusion is one of the biggest reasons people delay a CTP claim, miss key documents or accept less guidance than they need.

In our road accident roadmap, we explain the practical first steps: get medical treatment, report the accident, gather the right details, and understand how a CTP claim may cover treatment costs, lost income and other losses. We also help make sense of the process if the other driver was at fault and you are worried about dealing with insurers.

If you want us to talk through your next step, reach out. We can explain where you stand and what to do from here.
