A colleague complained of a headache.

I said, "Do what I do. I put my head on my wife's bosom, and the headache goes away."

The next day, I asked, "Did you do what I told you to?" "Yes, I sure did. By the way, you have a nice house!"

My god! England had a king called Richard The Lionheart. I think one of the greatest English kings ever. Great in battle, there are statues of him outside the houses of parliament, born in Oxford, fought all the fights, fought against Saladin in the third crusade, good looking, played the banjo. The David Beckham of kings, right? Revered by the English, English as English Pie, and … he spoke French!

Avoid joining other people’s discussions.

I was sitting in a bar one day and two really large women came in, talking in an interesting accent.

So I said, “Cool accent, are you two ladies from Ireland?”

One of them snarled at me, “It’s Wales, dumbo!”

So I corrected myself, “Oh, right, so are you two whales from Ireland?”

That’s about as far as I remember.

All these killings in the US! Their National Rifle Association says, "Guns don't kill people, people do," but I think guns help, you know? I think they help.

I just think just standing there going, "Bang!" That's not going to kill too many people, is it? You'd have to be really dodgy on the heart to be seriously affected.
