FAQ: “When forming a divorce agreement, what counts as an asset or liability?”

Though this list isn't exhaustive, for assets, include all property, businesses and trusts, motor vehicles/boats/caravans, bank accounts, superannuation balances, furniture/household contents, artwork, collections, and personal items (e.g., jewellery, artwork).

For liabilities, include all loans, leases, mortgages, credit cards, borrowings from family/friends etc.
