Get Your Visa started its activity in 2012 with the goal to provide personal and professional migration assistance to people who decide to move to Australia. Valentina Segreto, founder of the company, is a Registered Migration Agent at the MARA (Migration Agent Registration Authority) and a member of the MIA (Migration Institute of Australia). Valentina is also a member of the Migration Institute of Australia’s Western Australia State Committee, covering also the role of Secretary. Valentina left Italy in 2009 to move to Australia and make a work experience in Perth. Since then, Valentina has met many overseas people struggling with the Australian bureaucracy when applying for a visa and - having worked on her application for a sponsorship - she understood how crucial is the role of the migration agent in the achievement of the visa.

Already on a Student visa and planning another course?

From 2 October 2026, you may need to apply for your next Student visa from outside Australia.

A new CoE does not automatically mean you can apply onshore, although limited exemptions may apply.

If no exemption applies, you must be outside Australia when you apply and when the visa is granted.

Under the new Directions, if your occupation is in a specified priority area, being outside Australia no longer puts your application at a lower processing priority.

The new processing priorities took effect on 19 September 2026 under Ministerial Directions 121 and 122.
