Had a fun ceremony with a couple who assessed each other for over a decade before deciding to marry. They celebrated with a small group at beautiful The Villa on the Beach. As we live in a different world now, guests were given drinks during the signing of the register, so that everyone could make a toast to the new Mr and Mrs at the end of the ceremony. The newlyweds were then able to clink glasses or bottles with their loves ones. Gavin and Shereen from the Villa of course kept everything ticking over perfectly. I was refreshed and delighted to meet Ash from Lucanna Wild Photography who brought talent, fun and laughter into the day. Congrats Mr and Mrs H ###

These two gorgeous people couldn’t wait another year to be married. They were married at their home with neighbours standing in front of their homes cheering them on. There were wardrobe malfunctions as the bride walked to the ceremony area, escorted by two over-excited Golden Retrievers who played Bitey-Face on her train and ripped her veil out. Their heartfelt vows to each other caused so many tears, heavy duty kitchen towel was needed for the mop-up. At the end of it, we were all covered in dog hair and it was perfect. I was lucky enough to be a part of an amazing wedding on Saturday. Ashlee and Anthony were married on Anthony's mother's picture-perfect property. There were plenty of laughs and almost-tears from this couple that is so perfectly suited. Ash was lovingly escorted to the ceremony by her father and her grandfather - Anthony had asked for and received blessings from both of them before proposing! I got to work with an amazing team of service providers, including the wonderful Donna at DMK Photography who has captured these beautiful images.

Even with the groom in surgery the night before the wedding, nothing could spoil this beautiful wedding for Anthony and Ashlee.

Married in front of family and friends overlooking the water on his parents property, the celebration continued later on at Rosslyn Bay where they partied long into the night.

This weekend's beautiful wedding was at The Old Station in Raglan. Every time I go down there, I fall in love with it a little more. From the immaculate condition of the grounds and buildings to the friendly and generous service of the Creed family and their staff, this is truly a wonderful event venue. They have most recently added a new barbeque area and an amazingly large gazebo overlooking the creek. The gazebo will be officially opened shortly and will be known as "Leonie's Lookout" after the late, great Leonie Creed. (Please excuse the photos - this is why I'm a celebrant and not a photographer).
