WestSide Community Lawyers, the Family Violence Legal Service Aboriginal Corporation and Centacare Catholic Country SA are hosting a free family and property law information session.

Topics covered will include:
• Property, divorce and the myths about dividing assets
• The Federal Court Specialist Indigenous List
• Family Dispute Resolution (Mediation)

Tuesday, 8 September 2026 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm at Centacare, 21 Oxford Terrace, Port Lincoln

Afternoon tea will be provided, and every attendee will go into the draw to win a $50 voucher from The Beach Bakery!

Meet Mark Ferraretto.

Mark has volunteered with WestSide Community Lawyers since July 2023. He is a sole practitioner and founder of Digital Law Lab, and came to law after more than 25 years in IT. He practises across criminal, child protection and family law.
Outside work, Mark is a passionate pilot and committee member of the Adelaide Soaring Club.

Our After Hours Clinic offers free legal advice to people in Adelaide's western suburbs who cannot get to a lawyer during business hours. It runs because volunteers like Mark give their time. Thank you, Mark.

🚨 IMPORTANT SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT – NATIONAL EMERGENCY ALERT TEST 🚨

On Monday 27 July 2026, a national test of Australia’s new AusAlert emergency warning system will take place across the country.

During the test, compatible mobile phones and connected devices may receive an emergency alert. For people experiencing domestic or family violence, this test could unintentionally reveal the location or existence of a hidden or safety phone.

If you or someone you know uses a hidden or safety device:

Be aware that putting a device on silent or ‘Do Not Disturb’ may not prevent the alert.

If it is safe to do so, turn the device off or place it in airplane mode at least one hour before the test.

Keep the device off or in airplane mode for at least one hour after the test.
