Meet Elisa Caruso.

With more than 14 years of litigation experience, Elisa brings a wealth of knowledge, practical insight and a client-centred approach to her volunteer work at WestSide Community Lawyers.

Elisa has represented clients in courts and tribunals throughout South Australia, successfully acting in matters involving workers compensation, probate, family law, personal injury, motor vehicle accident claims and employment disputes.

Before establishing Torrens Lawyers, Elisa was a Partner at a respected mid-sized South Australian law firm, where she developed a reputation for practical advice, careful preparation and determined advocacy.

Known for her straightforward communication and honest advice, Elisa is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for her clients.

Meet Pei Ling Cao.

Pei is a former employer at WestSide Community Lawyers and has remained closely connected to our organisation and the community we serve. Now the Principal of Cao Legal Solutions, Pei continues to support and give back to the community, bringing her experience, knowledge and passion for helping others to everything she does.

Pei brings a wealth of experience and a client-centred approach to every case. With a strong background in family law, Pei has also developed expertise across a diverse range of practice areas, including property conveyancing, wills and estate, debt recovery, property conveyancing, and employment law.

Fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Bahasa, Pei is dedicated to bridging cultural and linguistic gaps, ensuring clear communication and effective representation for clients from diverse backgrounds.

Our CEO, Catherine Coleiro, and Civil Lawyer, Claire Howie, recently visited Port Lincoln to deliver a two-day legal advice clinic at the Port Lincoln Library, providing accessible legal support to members of the Eyre Peninsula community.

During their visit, they joined the Family Violence Legal Service Aboriginal Corporation (SA) and Centacare Catholic Country SA to deliver a free Family Law Information Session for community members and local service providers.

WestSide Community Lawyers thanks FVLSAC and Centacare for working alongside us to deliver this valuable session. We also thank everyone who attended and helped make the visit a success.

We remain committed to improving access to legal information and assistance for people living in regional and rural South Australia.
