What a pleasure it was to meet with Henry Rider, Sponsorship Ambassador for the Hervey Bay Dingoes Wheelchair Basketball Club Inc 🐾🏀
Henry has been part of wheelchair basketball in the Wide Bay since the early days, training back when there were no accessible courts or wheelchair sports groups in Hervey Bay.
Since then, he has gone on to win a state championship, represent Queensland and play a huge role in helping grow the sport locally.
But the best part? Henry’s passion.
He spoke so openly about what wheelchair basketball means to him, how it makes him feel free on the court, and why he wants others living with disability or physical impairments to have that same opportunity.
He is driven, passionate and absolutely ready to help get the Dingoes rolling.
Local businesses, this is your nudge. If you want to support something genuinely meaningful in our community, reach out to Henry and the Hervey Bay Dingoes Wheelchair Basketball Club Inc team and get involved.
Let’s help this pack get off the ground. 🧡💙

Henry is pictured here with Kristy Wright from One Agency Fraser Coast. More about that soon 😉
