🚨 MAJOR NSW 190 SKILLS LIST UPDATE (2026–27)
Is your occupation still on the New South Wales Subclass 190 list, or did it just get cut? NSW has officially updated its Skills List for the 2026–27 program year with 16 unit groups removed and 15 unit groups added.
📌 Key 2026–27 Program Updates:
🟢 Subclass 190: The nomination program is now officially OPEN.
📅 First Invitation Round: Expected the week commencing 19 October 2026.
🔴 Subclass 491: All pathways remain CLOSED to new applicants.
⚠️ EOI Reminder: Only occupations on the NSW Skills List will be considered for an invitation—keep your EOI up to date and make sure you can evidence every claim in it!
🔄 The Big Shake-Up at a Glance:
❌ Notable Removals (16 Out): ICT Managers, ICT Business & Systems Analysts, Industrial/Mechanical/Production Engineers, Electronics Engineers, Chemical & Materials Engineers, Architects, Urban Planners, and Engineering Managers.
✅ Notable Additions (15 In): Advertising & Marketing Professionals, Multimedia Specialists & Web Developers, Enrolled & Mothercraft Nurses, Dental Practitioners, Podiatrists, Nutrition Professionals, Interior Designers, and multiple Teaching & Trade occupations.
