Our peer educators are on the move and will be delivering education sessions to the Wheatbelt and Mid-West regions during the month of June.
First stop is York and partnering with York Country Women's Association (CWA) on 3 June at 9.30am. The York community will hear from one of our lived experience volunteers sharing her story of elder abuse and how we can stand up and advocate for ourselves and others as we age.
In this session, you can learn more about ageism, how to challenge it and what stereotypes and ageist attitudes to look out for to help keep seniors safer.
CWA York's beautiful Purple Road will be proudly on display here for World Elder Abuse Awareness. Bookings are essential by emailing: [email protected].
