Empire turns 14 this year happy anniversary to us! I still love that I registered Empire on Valentine’s Day. 🍾🥂

This year is shaping up to be an interesting one, especially with the new AML processes coming into effect in July. It’s definitely an industry where you never get bored.

A huge thank you to my family and friends for supporting me personally especially over the past few years. It hasn’t always been easy, and I’m truly grateful for all the support and encouragement.

And to our referrers and loyal, repeat clients thank you for making this work so enjoyable. Your ongoing support truly means the world to me.

I nearly let this mile stone pass after the heartbreaking loss of our fur baby Millie on Monday but then memories came up and it may be a rough week but I need to take the time to appreciate and celebrate 12yrs of owning my own company and to thank everyone that supports Empire, it’s a ride I actually enjoy.

I want to thank my family and friends for supporting me personally as well it’s not always easy so I’m eternally grateful for you all.

I can’t believe it’s been 11yrs since Empire was born, I also can’t believe how fast that last year went… seriously where did that go.

I haven’t had time to post anything at all, however today I’m taking 5 minutes out to say how much I appreciate everyone that supports Empire it’s a crazy ride running a business but it’s a ride I never want to end.

I also want to thank my family and friends for supporting me personally especially the past few years its not always easy so I’m forever grateful for the assist.

💕Celebrating 10 Years…… 💕

I don’t know how this epic mile stone came around so quickly. We’ve been so busy I nearly forgot, I can’t believe it’s been 10yrs even with all the hurdles thrown our way, the market the past 2yrs, lack of staff, covid can’t forget that one, exhaustion and home schooling, it’s been an insane ride but gosh I love this industry.

I’m so proud of us, of every person that’s helped to reach where we are today a massive thank you. Empire means so much to me what started as a little idea so I could work from home with my then 3yr old has turned into 10 fabulous years I’ve met some amazing life long friends on this journey and hopefully many more to come.

Thank you to everyone that continues to support us and we’re looking forward to the new systems coming into play this year 🤗.

So here’s to us, bring on the next 10yrs 🥂🍾

I registered Empire on Valentine’s Day as a gift to myself and what a gift it’s been.

It’s our 9yr anniversary 🥳 this past year has been an epic roller coaster as I’m sure you can all agree who could of predicted Covid, lockdowns and a massive surge in the property market that came out of no where. Staff was hard to find for months, we moved into an new office in Stirling after 8yrs only to go into lockdown found out we’re not an essential service HOW that is possible with the amount of settlements we have, throw in homeschooling a special needs child and somehow we made it through with some sanity intact 😂 thank goodness I finally found an employee in November she’s been amazing best find ever considering she was thrown into the deep end best way to learn, she may not agree with this 😆.

Rounding out the year I lost my nana a women that meant the world to me, she was so proud of everything I’ve worked extremely hard to achieve and I know she will be shining down on me always and finally my son started high school after a week of lockdown!! Still if someone asked me would I do it all again, knowing the sacrifices I’ve made and how hard running a business is, in a heartbeat I love our industry this past year has been unprecedented and how we all banded together to help and support each other through such a chaotic market is admirable, it truly shows just how strong and amazing our industry is.

As I’m sitting here working on a Sunday afternoon, thinking back on the last few months n how hectic they have been more than words can describe, the stress and exhaustion have been real, as I’m sure it has for a lot of us. I’ve had the hardest few weeks after losing my nana, opening the door to the delivery man handing me a gorgeous hamper from some lovely clients makes you feel so appreciated and fuzzy making all this craziness that is life worth it. I also received gorgeous flowers from a referrer of ours and well I wish I had taken a pic from our other clients but that went down way to quickly 🙊🥂 thank you Nick & Zoe I’m eternally grateful to all who continue to support Empire Property Settlements and thank you to my family and friends who have helped so much with Jacob we couldn’t do life without you 💞💕

8yrs, I registered my baby 8yrs ago as a Valentines Day present to myself. Its been a hell of a crazy ride with so many changes in the property industry from when I first started, I was only 20yrs old 😱.

Along the way I’ve met some amazing people that have turned into life long friends, we lost people who we love who are no longer with us but I’m sure their supporting us from above. Despite the many ups and downs you face as small business owner especially in the WA property market the deadlines, the stress, the tears, the late nights, deregulation of fees, the laughter, the adrenaline feeling when you win against a bank or that deep satisfaction when you tell a client they have a new home or they’ve sold one, even doing all the extra work for the ATO I wouldn’t change any of it. The way our industry bands together to help each other when needed makes you feel proud to be a member, I love that my business constantly challenges me, I am very lucky to do something which Im passionate about and always learning from.

So to all my family, friends, referrers who supported and continue to support us build our wall and make my dreams a reality from the bottom of my heart I thank you all. I never would of gotten through this last 8yrs without you, were enormously grateful.

I’m looking forward to seeing what the future brings we’ve accomplished so much in just 8yrs it’s exciting to see where we go from here.
