A new resource will make it easier for researchers to model neurodegenerative diseases in a dish.
Working alongside partners at the NIH and Jackson Lab, our grantees are launching a new game-changing collection of 400+ cell lines related to Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's and Frontotemporal Degeneration. This collection will make it easier for scientists to study cells in a dish to learn more about what happens during neurodegenerative diseases.

How can Al help us better understand how the brain works? And how can neuroscience help engineer smarter Al? That's what the Kempner Institute for the Study of Natural and Artificial Intelligence at Harvard aims to uncover. The Kempner Institute will bring together scientists and engineers to do the kind of research that can't be done in conventional settings to dramatically change our understanding of both neuroscience and Al.
