From 1st May 2020 there has been a number of amendments to the Strata Titles Act. These amendments have caused several changes to the way an Offer & Acceptance is completed for a Strata purchase. WA’s clearer and fairer strata law is providing considerable benefits to strata buyers. With new seller disclosure requirements in place since 1 May, strata buyers are receiving more information about the property they are looking to buy – upfront, before signing a contract of sale. This is giving buyers stronger insights into the property, through additional information such as scheme meeting minutes and a 12-month view of the debts or levies that are payable.
