Part 2:
Understanding the difference between subclass 190 and 491 for Northern Territory nomination:

For 190: After completing studies, you need to stay in NT for 6 months with a relevant job or job offer. If no job is secured, you can stay 12 months while showing genuine efforts to find one. Applicants aged 35+ who aren't eligible for a 485 visa get some relaxation — they can apply directly with a nominated or closely related occupation job or job offer after finishing studies.

For 491: After two years of study, there's no waiting period. You can lodge your nomination straight away, provided you can show genuine and sustained job-search efforts during or after your studies.

Regardless of which visa applies, once nominated you must commit to living and working in NT for three years.
