🚨 MAJOR MIGRATION CHANGES ANNOUNCED

The Federal Government has announced major changes to Australia’s migration system.

Key areas include:

🔹 **Student visas** – tighter rules for family members joining students
🔹 **Visitor visas** – proposed No Further Stay conditions
🔹 **Visa hopping** – measures to limit repeated switching between temporary visas
🔹 **Skilled visas** – greater priority for critical sectors such as healthcare, construction, education, defence and agriculture
🔹 **Working Holiday visas** – proposed changes to second and third-year visas, including a ballot system
🔹 **Overstayers & compliance** – stronger action against visa breaches and misuse of the review system
🔹 **Migration numbers** – planned reduction in overall migration levels

⚠️ **These are significant announcements, but the detailed rules, commencement dates and transitional arrangements are yet to be confirmed.**

If you are considering a **new visa application or planning your next visa strategy**, it is important to understand how these changes may affect you.

📩 **Professional advice should be obtained before making any decision based on the announcement.**
