After 3 years serving the community as the owner of Southbound Cafe and Bloom & Brew Co the time has come for me to handover the keys to a new owner.
It hasn’t been an easy decision to make as I love the cafe, the amazing venue we are in and the space we have created, the exceptional team and the loving community we serve and have gotten to know so well.
However, after moving to Normanville in 2020 for what was meant to be 6 months, to now having lived here for almost 6 years and owning a business for the past 3, it’s time to tie a bow on my time here for personal/family reasons and find a new custodian of this much loved community cafe.
The past 3 years has been a wild ride. I still remember my very first day of trade and how the community showed up to show their support. And have continued to show up for the past 3 years.
I’m forever grateful for every single team member, community member, supplier and tradie who has helped me bring my cafe dreams to life.
And particularly my family who have always helped behind the scenes. Helping me paint, build, garden, shop, create, source and deliver whatever I’ve needed to bring my ideas to life.
Who would’ve thought on that first day what we would’ve achieved and how the cafe would’ve grown into what it is now.
It blows my mind.
I have personally learnt so much. I’ve done things I never thought I could or would do.
I’ve grown as a person, as a business owner and as a leader. It hasn’t always been easy or fun. There have been many sleepless nights, financial worries, and un-fun decisions that had to be made.
But geez there have been some epic fun times, belly laughs, practical jokes, dancing, and general hilarity with the team and customers. What a hoot!
Quite literal blood sweat tears laughs and hugs have gone into building and growing this business and I am beyond proud of where I have taken it and will forever be grateful for the journey, the lessons and the friendships.
With that being said Bloom & Brew Co is officially up for sale.
I am looking for a new custodian of this thriving, number 1 rated cafe, in the historical courthouse building of Normanville.
Someone who can continue to build and grow the business and take it to a whole other level.
The team, the reputation of the cafe and the community who love Bloom are all extremely important to me, so it is my mission to find the right person/family to takeover and continue the legacy.
