Assistant Property Manager role.

About us:

We are an expanding Holiday Property Management company based in Miami, Gold Coast.

We are currently looking for an Assistant Property Manager / House Keeping Manager to join our team.

You will assist the Property Manager in overseeing the management and cleaning of around 50 luxury short term holiday rentals across the Gold Coast. We service areas from Surfers Paradise to Coolangatta, so you must be able to travel.

You will be responsible for scheduling house keeping jobs, managing a roster / managing a small team of house keepers. You will be required to attend properties during and after cleaning to check the quality of cleans, top up inventory of house stock plus some light maintenance / reporting of issues.

This is a fairly autonomous role and you will be able to work from anywhere and effectively become your own boss.

We offer flexible working hours, initially this is a contract based role (must have ABN) and we are offering 20-40 hours per week to start, with the intention to go permanent for the right candidate.

Key skills and Experience:

- Have great attention to details / be able to provide quality assurance checks after cleans and spot errors in the cleaning.

- Be able to problem solve and think outside the box - we work in a fast paced environment so you must be able to think on your feet

- Have a good understanding of properties and general maintenance - prior property management experience is a bonus but not essential.

- Have great communication and people skills / be able to communicate issues and problems as they arise and have the confidence to create solutions to problems.

- Be able to direct and deal with tradespeople

- Must have own car and be available over the weekends

- Must be punctual, tidy and great with time management

- Must be tech savvy - we use several different online applications to manage our portfolio, so any experience with property management systems and Slack is a bonus.

House Keepers - WANTED!!!

We are looking for reliable Airbnb housekeepers, with a very high standard of cleaning and also able to report on condition of property etc.

We manage around 40 properties from Northern Gold Coast down to Cooly.

Our linen depot is in Miami where you will pick up new linen and drop off dirty linen. You will need your own car and basic cleaning equipment. Some cleaning products are supplied. We use several apps to schedule cleans and communicate with the team.

Full training is given however you will need an eye for detail and take pride in presenting a property to guests. You also need to be able to work independently and to a very high standard and be organised. Teams of 2 people work well.

Cleans are usually between 10am and 3pm and we are busiest Saturday - Tuesday. You MUST be reliable and not cancel jobs at the last minute. I can't stress this enough.

This is a casual, self-employed role. You must submit an invoice to us each fortnight for payment.

Start date is immediate.

We pay a set rate per property which works out to be approx $25 per hour plus a linen fee per property but you will make more if you are fast (and good).
