🚨 STOP CHASING MIGRATION TRENDS!

Over the last 10 years, we’ve seen different occupations become the “next big thing” for PR — Civil Engineering Draftspersons, Early Childhood Teachers, Painters, Chefs, Motor Mechanics and more.

But here’s the catch 👇

When everyone starts chasing the same occupation, competition increases and the pathway can become much harder.

That’s why we analysed the last 6 invitation rounds to identify occupations where:

âś… Invitations have been coming at around 65 points

âś… Competition remains relatively low

âś… There may be a more strategic pathway than simply following the latest trend

📌 We’ve already covered these occupations in detail — check the videos linked in our caption.

The old “visa refusal → tribunal → buy more time” approach is changing. 🇦🇺

With student visa hearings currently not taking place, older and newer files are moving forward—and decisions may come sooner than expected.

If PR pathways are part of your long-term plan, don’t wait until your studies or current visa are ending. The right time to understand your options is early—ideally within your first year in Australia.

Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) Update 🇦🇺

The Department’s latest announcement has left many students confused about what happens to their COE and future study plans.

But here’s the important part: there isn’t one solution for everyone. Your options may depend on your individual situation — whether you’ve already lodged a student visa, are currently on a student visa, have a future COE, are nearing the end of your current course, or are waiting on an ART appeal.

⚠️ Don’t panic and don’t assume your visa will automatically be cancelled. Different scenarios can have different pathways.

📞 Need clarity about your situation? Call us on 1300 288 472 for a consultation.

Understand your options before making your next move.

The Australian Department has announced the closure of the Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) course from 5 October 2026.

With around 40,000 enrolments across approximately 400 VET providers, and only about 15,000 students currently studying, thousands of future enrolments may be affected.

If you have already enrolled and hold a Student Visa/COE, especially where your course has not yet commenced or your COE is cancelled, it’s important to understand how this may affect your visa conditions.

📌 Already enrolled? Don’t wait. Speak with your registered migration agent or education provider to understand your options and next steps.

The Albanese government will ban new international students from enrolling in the Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning), amid concerns the course is being used to extend visas rather than for genuine study.
The course has more than 40,000 international enrolments and is offered by 452 VET providers. The government cited high rates of non-completion and visa refusals as evidence of misuse. Current students and existing qualifications will not be affected.
The decision is part of Labor’s broader migration crackdown, which aims to reduce net overseas migration to 225,000 within two years. Proposed changes include tighter restrictions on international students, visitor visas and onshore visa applications.
Assistant Education Minister Julian Hill said the government remained committed to welcoming genuine students while improving the quality and integrity of Australia’s international education system.
đź’Ą Changes doesn't affect any student who is enrolled and currently studying.
đź’Ą The change applies only to new students. From 5 October 2026 onwards, students will need to be both enrolled in and have commenced the course by that date to be able to continue. Anyone who meets this will be unaffected and can complete the course as normal

A Skill Assessment alone doesn’t guarantee an invitation.

In today’s challenging Australian migration landscape, getting an invitation can be more competitive than ever.

If you’re an overseas applicant considering a Skill Assessment and want to understand your chances, don’t make decisions without assessing your profile first.
