๐จ 1. Foreign Students & Dependents
NO Family Dependents: International students and Temporary Graduate visa holders can no longer bring family or secondary applicants (exceptions strictly preserved for research/PhD students).
Ending "Visa Hopping": Students can now only extend their stay onshore by progressing UP the qualification scale (e.g., Bachelorโs โก๏ธ Masterโs).
Downward or lateral shifts to stay onshore indefinitely will no longer be permitted.

Ballot System Introduced: Completing your 88 days of regional work will no longer guarantee a 2nd or 3rd-year visa. Applicants will now enter a random ballot system with capped caps (45,000 for 2nd year; 5,000 for 3rd year).
UK passport holders remain exempt under the UK-Australia Free Trade Agreement.
