Join Hume’s LGBTQIA+ Community Working Group🌈

Are you passionate about creating a more inclusive, visible, and supportive community in Hume, and do you identify as LGBTQIA+ person?

Hume City Council is inviting expressions of interest to join its LGBTQIA+ Community Working Group. A space where your voice, lived experience, and ideas can make a real difference.

This group supports Council to deliver actions that strengthen inclusion, enhance visibility, and improve the quality of life for LGBTQIA+ communities across Hume.

📢Application by 5pm, Thursday 18 June

Please note: Applications will be reviewed by an independent panel and places are limited.

What’s on at Artrise these school holidays?

Artrise in Sunbury is hosting a range of events for children and families these winter school holidays, including theatre performances, hands-on workshops and drop-in play activities.

Don’t miss these events:

There is also a mix of creative workshops where kids can try beatboxing, circus skills, portrait painting, shadow puppetry and more.

Some of our services will change on Monday 8 June for the King's Birthday public holiday:
📍 Customer Service Centres will be closed.
📚 Hume Libraries will be closed.
🖥 Hume Global Learning Centres will be closed.
🏊‍♂️ Leisure Centres will be open with reduced hours.
♻️ Kerbside bins will be collected as normal.
