⚠️ BSB80120 SUSPENDED — and providers are already recommending an “alternative course”?
From 5 October 2026, overseas students will no longer be able to commence:
BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)
In simple terms:
❌ No new CoEs can be issued
❌ Students who have not commenced cannot start the course
❌ Related CoEs for future commencements will be cancelled
✅ Students who commenced before 5 October can generally continue their studies
Following the announcement, some providers have started recommending:
BSB80320 Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership
The course names and levels may look similar, but changing courses may not be a simple solution.
Just because a provider is willing to accept you does not mean the course is suitable for you—or that the transfer will not affect your Student visa.
BSB80320 has its own education and management experience requirements. Before transferring, you should consider:
▫️ Does the new course match your background?
▫️ Is your reason for transferring reasonable?
▫️ Do you need a release from your current provider?
▫️ Could the transfer affect your current visa?
▫️ Do you need to apply for a new Student visa?
▫️ Could it affect future visa applications?
📣 If you are studying BSB80120, hold a CoE but have not commenced, or have received an alternative course offer, do not rush to transfer or make payment.
