MINISTERIAL INTERVENTION GRANTED TO OUR CLIENT THAT CAME TO AUSTRALIA BY BOAT!
Our client, Nia fled his home country in fear for his life, having experienced persecution there. He arrived in Australia by boat more than 10 years ago but, unfortunately, he was unable to regularise his immigration status for many years.
When he later sought our migration advice, we assisted him in lodging a request for Ministerial Intervention (Ministerial intervention gives the Minister a discretionary power to personally intervene in your visa application that has already been refused or dismissed).
As a result, he has now been granted a Temporary Humanitarian visa on 10 April 2026 and will now apply for the permanent stage (Subclass 851).
We can help you prepare a strategic and well-supported Ministerial Intervention application.
