Australia has introduced a new Arrival Control Determination under the Migration Amendment (2026 Measures No. 1) Act 2026, effective 26 March 2026 for 6 months.

⚠️ WHO IS AFFECTED?
Visitor Visa (Subclass 600) holders who:
β€’ Are outside Australia on 26 March 2026
β€’ Applied using an Iranian passport

πŸ‘‰ Their visa will temporarily cease to be in effect, unless an exemption applies.

❗ No refunds will be provided unless eligible under specific criteria (Reg 2.12F).

From 11 March 2026, new requirements apply when lodging a Subclass 407 Training Visa application in Australia.
