🚨 NSW Skilled Migration 2026–27: Major Changes to the 190 Occupation List! 🇦🇺

Is your occupation still on the NSW Skilled Migration list? 👀

NSW has updated its Subclass 190 Skilled Nominated Visa Occupation List for FY 2026–27, and there are some important changes you need to know!

📌 Here’s what’s changed:

✅ 15 occupation groups ADDED
❌ 16 occupation groups REMOVED
📋 63 occupation groups UNCHANGED
🇦🇺 78 occupation groups on the updated NSW 190 list

Some newly added groups include Advertising and Marketing Professionals, Special Education Teachers, Dental Practitioners, Interior Designers and more!

Meanwhile, Engineering Managers, ICT Business and Systems Analysts, University Lecturers and several other groups have been removed.

⚠️ Important: These changes apply to NSW Subclass 190. The NSW 491 Regional Skills List has not yet been updated.

Remember, having your occupation on the list does not guarantee an invitation. You must still meet the relevant eligibility and nomination requirements.

Subclass 190 Nomination: $180

Fees exclude GST. An additional 10% GST applies to applicants in Australia.

📊 NEW VICTORIAN POINTS TEST (VPT)

Victoria ranks applicants based on factors including age, English proficiency, work experience, qualifications, occupation skill level, partner skills and eligible earnings in Victoria.

There is NO fixed VPT pass mark! Your competitiveness depends on other applicants in the pool.

Certain occupations within these industries may receive priority consideration for nomination invitations.

🚨 NT SKILLED MIGRATION 2026–27: APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED! 🇦🇺

Planning to apply for Northern Territory (NT) nomination under Subclass 190 or 491? There's an important update you need to know!

The NT Government has received sufficient applications for the 2026–27 program year and is no longer accepting general nomination applications.

⚠️ BUT THERE ARE LIMITED EXCEPTIONS!

Certain onshore applicants who meet the NT Graduate or NT Resident criteria may still be eligible to apply if they meet at least one of the following circumstances:

✅ Their substantive visa expires on or before 30 September 2027, and they are not eligible for a Subclass 485 visa.

✅ They will turn 45 on or before 30 September 2027.

✅ Their points for Subclass 491 will fall below 65 due to age by 30 September 2027.

❌ Offshore nomination applications are currently not being accepted.

💡 What if you don't meet these exceptions?

It doesn't necessarily mean your Australian migration journey ends here!

Depending on your occupation, points, location and eligibility, you may be able to explore other options, including:
