Missing the 30-day window doesn't automatically end a WorkCover claim.
In Victoria, you need to notify your employer within 30 days of a workplace injury. If your injury developed over time, the clock may start from when you realised it was work-related, not the day it began.
Late claims can still be accepted, depending on the circumstances. The sooner you act, the easier it is to gather records and start receiving support.
If you've been putting it off, get advice before assuming it's too late. Our full guide is on our website.
