Planning to apply for an Australian skilled visa as a teacher? 🇦🇺🍎

The Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) has updated its fees for skills assessment applications submitted through the online applicant portal from 7 September 2026.

Key updated fees include: 🔹 Skills Assessment: AUD 1,198
🔹 Appeal of Assessment Outcome: AUD 938
🔹 Skilled Employment Statement (SES): AUD 265
🔹 Partial Refund Amount: AUD 982

📌 Important: AITSL does not charge GST on Assessment for Migration fees.

🔹 Priority 2: Law enforcement & defence — Offshore
🔹 Priority 3: Construction, healthcare & teaching — Onshore
🔹 Priority 4: Other skilled applications — Onshore
🔹 Priority 5: Other skilled applications — Offshore

The Australian Government has taken action affecting new international student enrolments in the Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning).

📅 Key Dates:
🔹 4 September 2026 — Instrument registered
🔹 5 September 2026 — Instrument commences
🔹 5 October 2026 — Automatic action after the 30-day transition period

🎓 What students need to know:
✅ Students who have already commenced can continue their studies and complete the course.

⚠️ New international student enrolments will no longer be permitted once the CRICOS action takes effect.
❌ Future CoEs for this affected course may be cancelled as part of the CRICOS action.
📌 This measure specifically concerns the Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) and does not apply to all Graduate Diploma courses.
