💗 Coming Together for Breast Cancer Awareness Month 💗

Yesterday, some of our team gathered in the boardroom at Stary Norton Halphen & Galbally for a special lunch to acknowledge National Breast Cancer Foundation Breast Cancer Awareness Month and show our support for those affected by breast cancer.

With lunch catered by Saluministi – Italian Delicatessen & Catering, it was a wonderful opportunity to come together as a team and reflect on the importance of awareness, early detection, and ongoing research.

We’re also proud to encourage our staff to prioritise their health. As part of our commitment to supporting our team, we offer staff a $100 David Jones voucher when they attend a breast check at The Rose Clinic. It’s a small way to encourage everyone to make their health a priority. 💕

Can criminal charges be withdrawn in Victoria?

Yes. However, once criminal charges have been filed, it is the prosecution — rather than the complainant — that decides whether the charges continue.

Charges may be withdrawn in certain circumstances, including where there is insufficient evidence, a key witness becomes unavailable, new evidence affects the prosecution case, or as part of negotiations about how a matter is resolved.

A withdrawn charge is also different from being found not guilty.
