We had the pleasure of attending the 2026 Yum Cha Networking Function hosted by Hong Kong Australia Business Association VIC Chapter (Hong Kong Australia Business Association (HKABA) VIC Chapter ) at Secret Kitchen, which was a fantastic afternoon of delicious food, engaging conversations and valuable networking opportunities.

It was a privilege to hear from Timothy Hau, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, who shared insights into Hong Kong’s five-year strategic vision of strengthening its position as a global innovation hub. Also, a special mention to our own Amber Li, President of HKABA Victoria, who did a fantastic job planning the event with her HKABA committee.

Great businesses and great teams are built long before the result appears on the scoreboard 🏀

We had the pleasure of attending the South East Melbourne Phoenix Major Luncheon, presented by Nueva, and had the opportunity to hear from Josh King, Geoff Harris AM and Romie Chaudhari.

What stood out wasn’t just the discussion on leadership or performance. It was how often the conversation returned to people.

The conversations around the room reflected the same thing. Business owners, professionals, investors and leaders from different industries all sharing ideas, experiences and lessons learned along the way.
In our experience, growth rarely happens in isolation.
It happens through relationships. Through learning from people who have walked a different path. Through being part of communities that challenge your thinking and expand your perspective.

We’re grateful for opportunities like these and for the chance to connect with so many people doing interesting things across the Victorian business community.
